The Nehemiah Center: Rebuilding Christian values in society 

The Nehemiah Center is a Danish organization dedicated to rebuilding Christian faith and values in Denmark, Europe and beyond. We believe that many of our present challenges in society come from a loss of the values that our Western culture was built on. Biblical values such as love, forgiveness, and living in harmony and fellowship with one another and God.

Inspired by Nehemiah from the Old Testament, who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem to protect the city, we aim at strengthening the Christian values in society that can provide safety, comfort and hope in our present day society.

Parliamentarians visiting churches:

The Nehemias Center is currently working with national church leaders across Europe to help and inspire churches and denominations to invite politicians to their churches. We dream of seeing 1,000 politicians in 20 countries visit churches across Europe—so they can recognize the value of churches and the role of Christians in society. 

While we are building this website, you can go to this page and learn more about the conferences we organized in Brussels in 2023 and Vienna in 2024, as well as our strategy and approach for inviting parliamentarians to visit churches. Later on you will be able to access videos from these conferences and download a workbook with materials and tools that will inspire and equip you in launching your own initiatives to invite parliamentarians and local politicians to visit churches in your own country and community.
